She was an officer in the Brazilian Air Force and has more than 28 years in Psychology Applied to Flight Safety and Workplace Safety, working mainly in the following areas: investigation and prevention of aircraft accidents, operational safety inspection, training and psychological support after the occurrence of an accident.

In addition, she worked in the Air Traffic Management Division and in the Airspace Control Safety Advisory at DECEA. Since then, she has performed the following functions, among others: - Coordinator of the implementation of the Investigation of the Psychological Aspect in Air Traffic Incidents and Investigator of aeronautical accidents, in Human Factors area; - Accredited Inspector of Operational Safety in Air Navigation Services; - Coordinator of the working group for the implementation of risk management to human fatigue, in the Brazilian Airspace Control System; - Human Factors Researcher in airspace control sectors; - Specialist in Human Factors in Risk Management teams; - Instructor of several courses related to the area of Human Factors and Safety Management System.

She works as an undergraduate and graduate professor, is a clinical psychologist and HR consultant. 40 years of professional experience in the aviation area. Director of the Condor Institute of Psychology, Health and Research, since 2000, working in situations of fear of flying, panic syndrome, grief, separations and losses, post-trauma stress, among others. She worked at VARIG Airlines for 25 years, and currently works at Air Safety Aeronautical Consultant. In addition, she worked in the recovery of bereaved family members in air disasters (flights 1907 and 3054), in other accidents and catastrophes (Kiss Nightclub; Brumadinho dam failure; murder in schools, urban violence, COVID-19 etc.). Themes of action: mental health; research and intervention in grief, separations and losses; suicide prevention and postvention; disaster prevention; assistance to families and schools affected by tragedies and/or violence; - conversation circles with business groups for the development of strategies and coping in crisis situations and so on. In the Human Resources area, she works with potential assessment and Training & Development.

She worked as an accredited element for the investigation of the Human Factor in air accidents until 2009. She worked as a guest researcher at the Laboratory of Studies on Health and Sexuality at PUC-SP until 2020. Currently, she performs a Timely Task at the São Paulo Air Force Hospital , at the Health Inspection Center, where she performs psychological aptitude tests on aeronauts, among other activities.
